Here's a rifle that almost came homefrom the CLA show with me, but, having already taken delivery of a new rifle that day, I deferred to Tim Cosby and let him go for the buy. We were having a nightcap at the Stoner Creek Hotel when Wayne pulled out a nice .40cal. rifle to look at. We'll never know what really happened, but when the smoke cleared Tim had bought it. It is a pretty little .40cal. rifle with a swamped barrel built by Kentucky builder Keith Vance.
