DeWitt gets another one.

DeWitt killed another hog.  Here is the story as related by Tim Cosby:

      "Dewitt has been trying his best to kill a big boar hog he nicknamed Humpy.  Humpy got his name because he has a pronounced hump in his back just in front of his tail. In fact a few nights back Dewitt let about 35/40 hogs come in feed and leave waiting on Humpy. That was a bad mistake. A later review of the game cam showed that Humpy not only was there while Dewitt was hunting but made more than one trip. You see Dewitt had in his mind that Humpy was a solid white hog. Better game cam pictures shows Humpy to have some black spots so when the spotted boar (Humpy) came through he got a pass.

The next hunt Dewitt was in the bottom stand certain that Humpy would be in trouble should he come by for a snack.

Humpy showed, walked into the feeder lights, and exited before Dewitt could get his safety off. Humpy's cousin  Ralph wasn't nearly as lucky. He walked straight into one of Dewitt's 7mm Rem Mag bullets. Not Humpy but certainly a really nice 300 lb plus boar. It also meant one less hog to destroy the landowner's property. 

Will Dewitt get the big mostly white boar nicknamed Humpy, only time will tell. He is after him as sure as Ahab hunted a white whale. Let us hope for a better ending to the story. If and when it happens we'll share the story."
