New rifle from Ted Kramer.

Ted just sent me some pictures of his latest rifle.  Looks like a really nice candy bar carrier!!
Here are some photos of his just completed early flint rifle and his email.
Chambers Early Ketland lock.
FCI "C" wt. 38" .52 cal., round grooves, 1-66" twist.
Maple stock from a blank.
13.25"  LOP
I made all the mounts.
Stock was stained first with some "aftermarket" Aquafortis that was crap, didn't blush much at all ( should have gotten some good AQ from elsewhere) but was anxious to get it done so went with it anyway. Then a coat of min-wax dark oak stain darkened it some-called it a day. Still applying tung oil.
Metal was cold blued, left to rust for 2-3 days, carded, then oiled.
