We went hog hunting at a farm in Crenshaw county for a couple of days this week. The owner was kind enough to invite us to stay in his hunting lodge there. We really roughed it. He even furnished a four seat all-terrain buggy to use. It rained some but didn't affect the hunting. If you could get to the two-man shooting house between showers, all was good. The shooting houses had high backed office chairs to sit in. Good for a nap while waiting. Tim Cosby's grandson Zack had his chance but missed. I got one Fri. evening, but no luck Saturday morning. Saw two deer and a wild calf. The black calf looked a little like a black bear in the high weeds. Tim stayed on and hunted Sat. afternoon, but all he saw was deer.
The lodge.
View from the entryway. Full kitchen on the right.
You could call it chillin' on the front porch or maybe getting mentally prepared for the hunt. Your choice.

I got mine.
Nice boar hog. We estimated it at 125-150lbs. One more removed from the area.
Tim got his earlier.

Since he missed his shot, Zack on the left found his at McDonald's that night. No "trophy picture" for him. Just a hamburger and some target practice.😢
